Bond Blocks for K and P
In this session run by MAWA Narelle will use ideas from the Bond Blocks Pre-Foundation and Foundation resources to support K and P teachers.
The activities target counting skills identified by research as key predictors of difficulties in maths at this stage of development as assessed in early years state testing with:
-Student led play using the Introductory Activities.
-Guided play using the Activity Cards.
-Teacher led instruction using the Counting Activities.
Monitor progress using the Assessment Counting Skills Checklists. Resources linked to the Australian Curriculum, ABLEWA and Victorian Curriculum (Levels A to D) to support students with learning disabilities.
