Brightpath Maths: Developing Whole School Approaches to Support Students

Careful examination of data can help leaders develop Whole School Approaches to teaching mathematics in order to address some areas of concern.
In this one day workshop, Dr Sandy Heldsinger will help you examine your Brightpath Mathematics data.
Then Dr Paul Swan and Narelle Rice will review how the literacies of mathematics can and do impact on students’ ability to read and comprehend mathematics word questions.
Structures will be provided to help improve the comprehension of mathematics word questions. Leaders and teachers will leave with a range of practical materials that may be implemented straight away.
Please note: feedback from this session will be used to inform the making of video support for teachers in remote locations.
Cost $450 (incl GST) per person (Morning tea/coffee and lunch included)
Refund policy – Refunds will be issued if notification of cancellation is received more than 14 calendar days before the event date. A $50 cancellation fee per ticket will apply in all instances.
