All WA Schools need to be ready to implement the New WA Curriculum in 2026. This one-day course is designed for leaders, Maths Coordinators and teachers to help manage the implementation.
Participants will be provided with info on:
- What has changed from Version 8 of the Curriculum to the New WA Curriculum,
- How content changes from year to year,
- The differences and commonalities between the New WA Curriculum and the New Australian Curriculum V9.

Presenters:
Dr Paul Swan PhD: Has 40 years teaching experience and over 50 publications including the best-selling Teaching Primary Mathematics 3rd, 4th and 5th editions. He will show how the research can be applied in the classroom setting.
Narelle Rice: With 20+ years teaching experience Narelle brings with her a wealth of knowledge gained from working with students requiring intervention. Narelle balances the need for explicit teaching and reducing cognitive load to support students who require Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention. Narelle is the brains behind the Bond Blocks System.
