No, we haven’t suddenly launched a Russian version of the site – for anywhere from a few minutes up to a hour or two (i.e the time I wasn’t working on it) the site was redirecting any and all pages on the domain to a spam site due to a security problem in a plugin. The developers have fixed it.

The problem allowed redirecting from outside the site, (so they did not log in/get any data). While I don’t think anyone was trying to access the site at the time, If you were sent there, the spam site also doesn’t seem to do anything other than be annoying but it doesn’t hurt to run a security scan.
