Perplexing Puzzles and Problems Series
We have redesigned our Perplexing Puzzles and Problems cards to make them more manageable.
We use the term puzzle to describe a shorter task and the term problem to describe longer task with multiple solutions.
We know it is hard to fit Problem Solving into your already jam-packed maths curriculum, so we suggest just doing one puzzle or problem a week. Answers have been provided. Where there are multiple answers we have shown how to use the problem solving strategy work systematically and use a table.
Year Levels:
Perplexing Puzzles and Problems 1: Year 4+ (and possibly advanced Year 3's)
