To highlight the role of Problem Solving in Mathematics we are going to provide a “Problem of the Week” for students in Year 4 to 6 to try.

• The problems have been chosen to reflect the links between all four Proficiency Strands.
• Simple suggestions and ideas for helping students solve the problems will be provided.

We are trialling this for 8 weeks in Term 1 to gauge interest, so feel free to send us feedback.
