Description

Cubes in the Classroom: Colour, 48 pages

Linking or connecting cubes may be used for early years construction, particularly with the addition of extra pieces such double cubes, joiners and half cubes. 2cm linking cubes may then be used later in the school to introduce number ideas, algebraic thinking, measurement ideas such as volume and spatial ideas involving viewing cube constructions from different angles. This book will help teachers gain the most from the existing 1 cm and 2 cm cubes found in most storerooms and get the cubes into classrooms
