Description
You will be amazed at the different number concepts that can be developed using a variety of number boards. Students begin in the early years by matching numbers on the board, identifying numbers that come before after and between other numbers. They can perform simple calculations using the boards, identify odd, even, prime and composite numbers and engage in patterning and algebra and early algebraic thinking. All you need is a number grid and some counters or whiteboard number grids and some dry erase pens and your lesson will be up and running. Students can record their findings on a paper grid for assessment purposes.
